Before conservation

This oil painting, which is a view of a Transylvanian village, was placed in this state due to poor storage conditions.
Thick dirt on the paint layer had to be removed from a fragmented and dispersed coat of paint.

After straightening
After conservation. The paint losses were filled, retuched and varnished.
